'Lament in the dark' is an artwork by Dave H which depicts a piper playing a lament at the battlefield cross of a fallen comrade.
Created in Dave's easily recognisable style of stark backgrounds and silhouetted figures, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour - in this instance provided by the bright crimson of the poppy flower.
It is an original polychromo on black card, unframed but mounted in a 18" x 14" white-cored black mount - which is a standard frame size, allowing 'off the shelf' framing.
