U198 Original Painting - 'the day the music died'

£50.00 £600.00

Sold Out

'The day the music died' is another of Dave's popular silhouetted paintings, this one depicting a lady laying flowers at a half mast star spangled banner. It was painted in response to the tragic mass shooting at a music festival in Las Vegas in 2017.

It is painted in his easily recognisable style with muted backgrounds contrasting with a splash of virbant colour, in this instance provided by the flag and the flowers.

It is an original acrylic painting on A3 220gsm canvas paper, unframed but mounted (less international  sales) in a 16" x 12" white-cored black mount - which is a standard frame size, allowing 'off the shelf' framing.

We aim to ship all original artworks in the sale within 10 working days of purchase.

We are happy to ship to both BFPO and International destinations, but due to changes with post office policy regarding sizes all international sales will be shipped unmounted. Please contact us for international postage rates prior to purchase.
