This is where Hettie’s story begins.

Created as a *one-time special edition*, this hand-painted love heart features Hettie the hedgehog—one of the very first characters from my upcoming children’s book.

Each piece is individually hand-painted with textured detail, meaning no two are ever identical. I’ve released these in *very small batches of 8*, with only a limited number available in total.

Every heart sold helps fund the next step in bringing Hettie’s story to life—professionally scanning my finished illustrations so I can move closer to printing the book.

This isn’t just a decoration—it’s a piece of the very beginning.

Once these are gone, this moment in Hettie’s journey is gone with them.

Dave is releasing this Special Edition as an extra one (not connected to the annual hearts) - which is great news for all of you collectors of Dave's hearts out there!

It is approximately 6cm x 6cm and comes complete with ribbon, ready to hang.

As each one is personally hand painted by the artist, it will vary slightly from the one shown in the photograph. They are painted with the miniature painting on the front and are signed on the back. Due to the time that they take to create they will not be available in great numbers and will therefore be on a strictly first come, first served basis - we will be unable to reserve these items.
