'Spitfire above' depicts a lone airman stood at the battlefield cross of a fallen comrade with poppies around and a Spitfire flying overhead.

Painted in Dave's distinctive style of figures in silhouette and a splash of colour - in this instance the crimson of the poppy flowers.
