551 Original Painting - 'poppies at Sycamore Gap'
£600.00
Poppies at Sycamore Gap' is a painting which depicts the iconic and sadly now lost tree with poppies growing in the foreground. The Sycamore Gap tree, also known as the Robin Hood tree, was a 120-year-old sycamore tree next to Hadrian's Wall near Crag Lough in Northumberland, England.
Painted in Dave's easily recognisable abstract style of muted backgrounds, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour - in this instance provided by the bright crimson of the poppy flowers.
This original painting is acrylic on A3 canvas paper and is unframed, but mounted ready to slot straight into an off the shelf frame 18"x14".
All paintings purchases will be dispatched within 10 working days by Royal Mail Special Delivery/Parcelforce (depending on size).
