'Sorrow in the snow' depicts a lone soldier standing, head bowed, at the battlefield cross grave marker of a fallen comrade.

Painted in Dave's distinctive style of grey, gloomy skies, figures in silhouette and a splash of colour - in this instance the crimson of the poppy flower growing from the snow in the foreground.

This original painting is acrylic on gallery stretched box canvas, 40cm x 30cm. The box canvas has been painted around the edges to allow hanging unframed. Unfortunately due to recent size restrictions imposed by the Royal Mail this piece is not available to international customers.
