'Sappers' is a painting by Dave H which depicts British soldiers from the Royal Engineers in the process of building a bridge over a river.

Painted in Daves' easily recognisable abstract style of stark backgrounds and silhouetted figures, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour - in this instance provided by the bright crimson of the poppy flowers in the foreground.

It is an original acrylic painting on 50cm x 40cm box canvas.
