Original painting - 'Please don't cry Grandad'

'Please don't cry Grandad' is a painting by Dave H which depicts a little girl and her grandfather paying their respects at a war memorial in the rain.

Painted in Daves' easily recognisable abstract style of stark backgrounds and silhouetted figures, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour - in this instance provided by the bright crimson of the poppy wreaths and the girls pink coat.

It is an original acrylic on A3 220gsm canvas paper, unframed but A3 is a standard frame size - allowing 'off the shelf' framing.
