'National Treasures' is a painting by Dave H which depicts a Chelsea Pensioner raising his tricorn hat in salute to a war memorial.

Painted in Daves' easily recognisable abstract style of stark backgrounds and silhouetted figures, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour - in this instance provided by the bright crimson of the Pensioners' distinctive uniform and the poppy wreaths.

The painting is an original Acrylic on 220gsm canvas paper. It is A3 sized and comes unmounted and unframed, although A3 is a standard frame size.

£500 from the sale of this painting is pledged to the Chelsea Pensioners' Fund.
