Original Painting - 'Lonely job'

This is an original acrylic and enamel painting on board by up- -and-coming UK artist Dave H, who is fast becoming known for his remembrance themed artwork - both his paintings and his sculptures.

It depicts the role of the bomb disposal officer, focussing on the incredibly lonely aspect for the operator, taking the 'longest walk'.

Dedicated to the brave men and women of the RAOC/RLC, RE, RN and RAF bomb disposal teams.

Painted in Dave's distinctive style of black silhouette against a cloudy sky with a splash of colour - in this instance the gas cylinder of the Improvised Explosive Device (bomb).
