'Evening Sorrow' is a painting by Dave H which depicts the figure of a serviceman standing at the battlefield cross grave marker of a fallen comrade.

Painted in Daves' easily recognisable abstract style of stark backgrounds and silhouetted figures, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour - in this instance provided by the bright crimson of the poppy flowers growing around the grave.

It is an original acrylic on A3 220gsm canvas paper.
