Original Painting 051 - 'Checking the labels'

'Checking the labels' is a painting by Dave H which depicts a Policeman checking the labels on a group of small evacuated children during WW2.

Painted in Dave's easily recognisable abstract style of stark backgrounds and silhouetted figures, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour - in this instance provided by the bright crimson of the poppies.

It is an original acrylic on A3 220gsm canvas paper. It is unframed but A3 is a standard frame size, allowing for 'off the shelf' framing.
