'Eagle honor' (miss-spelled intentionally in honour of our American cousins) is a painting by Dave H which depicts a bald eagle sitting atop a battlefield cross, head bowed in sorrow.

Painted in Dave's easily recognisable abstract style of stark backgrounds and silhouetted figures, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour - in this instance provided by the bird and the bright crimson of the flower.

It is an original acrylic on A3 220gsm canvas paper, unframed but mounted in a 18" x 14" white-cored black mount - which is a standard frame size, allowing 'off the shelf' framing.
