'Rags' is a another of Dave's popular 'white on black' range of works, painted on black canvas and with the detailing completed in white. The crimson of the poppy flower provides the contrast usually associated with Dave's work. 'Rags' was a hero dog from WW1 who served with US forces in France.
It is an original acrylic on A3 220gsm canvas paper, unframed but mounted in a 18" x 14" white-cored black mount - which is a standard frame size, allowing 'off the shelf' framing.
