'Viking Spirit' is a painting in Dave's easily recognisable style, with silhouetted figures and a splash of contrasting colour - in this instance the poppy flower in the foreground. It depicts a soldier standing at the battlefield cross marker of a fallen comrade, with the spirit of a Viking standing beside him and crows swooping overhead.
It is an original acrylic on A3 220gsm canvas paper, unframed but mounted in a 18" x 14" white-cored black mount - which is a standard frame size, allowing 'off the shelf' framing.
