'Futility' is another of Dave's paintings, this one based on a sculpture of the same name by Jim Whelan, which in turn was based on Wilfred Owen's poem of the same name and has been given Dave's 'white on black' treatment. This version is on a black background with the detailing completed in white acrylic, the contrast provided by the crimson poppy flower.

Available as open edition prints, personally signed by the artist.

Each print is a professionally produced Giclée Fine Art Print,  created using Epsom ultra chrome K3 pigment inks on Expression Smooth 280gsm paper.

The printed area is 14.5" x 10.5" and they are mounted in white-cored black acid free mounts with an overall external measurement of 18" x 14", allowing for framing in standard 'off the shelf' frames.

Please note that we no longer physically hold a stock of this print and we have to order them in from the printers. This can take 5-15 working days, depending on when they are ordered.
