218 Open Edition Giclée Print 218 - 'Ready for take off'

£100.00

Another of Dave's 'National Treasures' series of paintings, taking a look at the in-Pensioners of the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

'Ready for take off' is painted in Dave's easily recognisable style, featuring a Chelsea Pensioner, resplendent in his tricorn hat and scarlet coat, but with his coat held up to mimic an aircraft. This painting was requested by the Governor of the Royal Hospital to assist in their negotiations regarding the proposed summer tunics for the pensioners.

Each print is a professionally produced Giclée Fine Art Print,  created using Epsom ultra chrome K3 pigment inks on Expression Smooth 280gsm paper.

Available as open edition prints, personally signed by the artist.

The printed area is 14.5" x 10.5" and they are mounted in soft white acid free mounts with an overall external measurement of 20" x 16", allowing for framing in standard 'off the shelf' frames.

Please note that we no longer physically hold a stock of this print and we have to order them in from the printers. This can take 5-15 working days, depending on when they are ordered.

We are happy to ship to both BFPO and International destinations,  but please contact us for international postage rates prior to purchase.
