100 Limited Edition Giclée Print - 'Where's Timothy MacColl?'
£100.00
'Where's Timothy MacColl?' is a painting by Dave H which depicts sailors lining the deck of HMS Westminster, with a single poppy growing in the place of Timothy MacColl, a Leading seaman in the Royal Navy who went missing in the early of hours of 27 May 2012 in the Port Rashid area of Dubai. He was initially posted as missing but subsequently declared dead 2 years later, against the wishes of the family.
Painted in Dave's easily recognisable abstract style of stark backgrounds and silhouetted figures, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour - in this instance provided by crimson poppy flowers.
