A polychromo based on the sculpture called 'Futility' by sculptor Jim Whelan. It in turn was based on poems and an earlier sketch by War poet Wilfred Owen. It was dedicated to the boys from Birkenhead Institute School who went to War and never came home and was recently unveiled in Hamilton Square, Birkenhead.

Limited edition prints are available of the painted version of this artwork.

An original A3 sized piece, it comes unframed but mounted in a white-cored black 20" x 16" mount, which is a standard frame size, allowing for 'off the shelf' as well as bespoke framing.

As with all of Dave's originals it will be packaged and dispatched within 48 hours of cleared payment, shipped within the UK by Royal Mail Special Delivery.

International postage is also available at cost. Please contact us prior to purchase for international P&P costs.
