'Regent's sorrow' is an artwork by Dave H which depicts HRH Queen Elizabeth II with the spirit figure of her beloved Philip standing with her.
Created in Dave's easily recognisable style of stark backgrounds and silhouetted figures, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour - in this instance provided by the bright crimson of the poppy flowers in Her Majesty's hat.
It is an original polychromo on black card, unframed but mounted in a 18" x 14" white-cored black mount - which is a standard frame size, allowing 'off the shelf' framing.
