'Poppies at Sycamore Gap' is a painting which depicts the iconic and sadly now lost tree with poppies growing in the foreground. The Sycamore Gap tree, also known as the Robin Hood tree, was a 120-year-old sycamore tree next to Hadrian's Wall near Crag Lough in Northumberland, England.
Painted in Dave's easily recognisable abstract style of muted backgrounds, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour - in this instance provided by the bright crimson of the poppy flowers.
Each print is a professionally produced Giclée Fine Art Print, created using Epsom ultra chrome K3 pigment inks on Expression Smooth 280gsm paper.
They are limited to editions of 200 numbered prints, personally signed and numbered by the artist.
The printed area is 14.5" x 10.5" and it comes unframed and unmounted.
