480 Original Polychromo - 'tears for the Somme'

'Tears for the Somme' is an original artwork by Dave H. 

This piece was slightly different to Dave's  usual style of monochrome figures, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour. In this instance eye is the main focus of the piece, with the colour provided by the single poppy flower reflected in the pupil. The single teardrop is a connectio9n to the sorrow and even the eyelashes provide an added link to remembrance, with the lashes forming an image of silhouetted figures on the front line,  reflected in the eye below..

It is an A3 sized polychromo on canvas paper. It comes unframed but mounted (less international sales) in an acid-free mount 16" x 12", which is a standard frame size,  allowing for off the shelf framing.
