311 Original Polychromo 311 - 'Saragarhi'

'Saragarhi' is a another of Dave's popular 'white on black' range of artworks, created on black backgrounds and with the detailing completed in white. This one depicts a Sikh soldier and represents the events at Saragarhi, where a vastly outnumbered  Sikh force fought to the death. The crimson of the poppy flowers provide the contrast usually associated with Dave's work.
