'Listening for news' is an artwork by Dave H which depicts a lady sitting at her wireless waiting for news of loved ones during the war.

It was created in Dave's easily recognisable style of monochrome figures, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour - in this instance provided by the inclusion of the single red poppy flower the lady is holding.

An original A3 sized piece, it comes unframed but mounted in a white-cored black 16" x 12" mount, which is a standard frame size, allowing for 'off the shelf' as well as bespoke framing.
