This is an original acrylic painting on gallery stretched canvas by up-and-coming UK artist Dave H, who is fast becoming known for his remembrance themed artwork - both his paintings and his sculptures.

The painting depicts a Chinook helicopter swooping in to collect a patrol from a field of poppies.

Painted in Dave's distinctive style of black silhouette against a cloudy sky with a splash of colour - in this instance the crimson of the poppy flowers.
