'Sticks and stones may break my bones, but petrol bombs they burn me' is a painting by Dave H which depicts a British soldier equipped for riot duties with a petrol bomb incoming.

Painted in Daves' easily recognisable abstract style of stark backgrounds and silhouetted figures, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour - in this instance provided by the bright flames emanating from the molotov cocktail flying towards the soldier.
