This is an original acrylic painting on gallery stretched canvas by up-and-coming UK artist Dave H, who is fast building up a following for his remembrance themed artwork - both paintings and sculptures.

'Sacrifice honoured' depicts a squad of servicemen firing a volley over the grave of a fallen comrade.

Painted in Dave's easily recognisable, distinctive style of black silhouette against a gloomy sky with a splash of colour - in this instance the crimson of the poppy wreaths.

50cm x 60cm, professionally framed in black canvas edging frame.

This painting was one of a pair (the other being 'Nothing's changed Tommy') donated by Dave to the Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre (JCCC) and now hang in their Operational Briefing Room, which was opened by Her Majesty the Queen in 2015.
