'Please don't cry Grandad' is a painting by Dave H which depicts a little girl comforting her grandfather at a war memorial.

It is painted in Daves' easily recognisable abstract style of stark backgrounds and silhouetted figures, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour - in this instance provided by the bright red poppy flowers and the little girls pink clothing.

It is an original acrylic on A3 220gsm canvas paper and an edition of 30 giclee prints was released.
