Original Painting - 'Lament for the Slain'

This is an original acrylic and enamel painting on board by up-and-coming UK artist Dave H, who is fast becoming known for his remembrance themed artwork - both his paintings and his sculptures.

It depicts a lone piper playing the lament at a war memorial.

Painted in Dave's distinctive style of black silhouette against a cloudy sky with a splash of colour - in this instance the crimson of the poppy wreaths.
