'Empty Saddle' is a another of Dave's popular 'white on black' range of paintings, painted on black canvas and with the detailing completed in white. The crimson of the lances 'pennon' and the poppy flower providing the contrast usually associated with Dave's work.
An edition of 25 numbered prints are available of this painting, personally signed and numbered by the artist.
It is an original acrylic on A3 220gsm canvas paper, unframed but mounted in a 18" x 14" white-cored black mount - which is a standard frame size, allowing 'off the shelf' framing.
