'I have to go mate' is another in one of Dave's popular white on black series, depicting a pup at the battlefield cross marker of his fallen master in the moonlight, with the spirit figure departing. The contrast usually expected in Dave's work is, in this instance, provided by the single  red poppy flower.

An original A3 sized piece, it comes unframed but mounted in a white-cored black 18" x 14" mount, which is a standard frame size, allowing for 'off the shelf' as well as bespoke framing.
