'Tears for the Somme' is a painting by Dave H depicting a teary eye which incorporates the famous photograph of the soldiers crossing the mud of the battlefield with their reflections mirrored in the stagnant waters below. The contrasting colour usually associated with Dave's work comes in the form of a poppy reflected in the pupil. 

They are available as an edition of 25 Giclée quality prints, personally signed and numbered by the artist.

Each print is a professionally produced Giclée Fine Art Print,  created using Epsom ultra chrome K3 pigment inks on Expression Smooth 280gsm paper.

The printed area is 14.5" x 10.5" and they are mounted in acid free mounts with an overall external measurement of 20" x 16", allowing for framing in standard 'off the shelf' frames.
