New Painting 'Scramble' Posted on 5 Jul 12:01

The latest addition to the Dave H portfolio is his new painting 'Scramble!'

The painting is an acrylic on 50cm x 40cm box canvas and depicts two pilots sprinting towards their planes to 'scramble' during World War 2. It is painted in Daves' easily recognisable style of stark backgrounds, silhouetted figures and splashes of contrasting colour - in this instance provided by the bright crimson of the poppy flowers in the foreground.

It is Daves' ambition to have 100 Royal Air force themed paintings completed by the the end of 2018, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the formation.
